Heathrow Terminal 4
London Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 is located next to the southern runway, adjacent to the cargo terminal.
Most of the flights hosted in Terminal 4 are international (North Africa, Asia and Europe).
All SkyTeam members operate from Terminal 4 with the exception of Delta Air Lines and Middle East Airlines (operates from T3).
Levels
Take a look at Heathrow Airport Terminal 4 level distribution:
Ground level
Arrivals area. Find Baggage reclaims 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7A, 7B, 8 and 9. Access from this level to Underground, to Heathrow Express to Terminals 2 and 3, to London and other types of transport.
Level 2 and mezzanine
Check-in area. Find in this level tickets desks of all airlines operating in this terminal distributed into different zones: A to H. Connection to Departures by lifts and escalators.
After security check there is departures area. Passengers will find all type of services: restaurants, shops and other amenities.
Departures with boarding gates 2 to 5 (10 minutes’ walk) and 12 to 17 (5 minutes’ walk).
TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS
For passengers that want to travel between terminals, there are frequent flight connection buses that transfer passengers from one area to another.
Another options is to take free shuttle trains from Heathrow Central Station in T2 and T3 to T4 and T5. Passengers can get a free Inter-Terminal Transfer Ticket at the station. Transfer. time: 20 minutes. Oyster card can also be used.
Another option is taking the underground, that run between terminals too. Transfer is free if passengers use Oyster card.
