From London Heathrow Airport passengers have many ways of transport to get to the city centre.

Train

From Heathrow Airport, passengers have at their disposal the Heathrow Express, the TFL Rail and the Rail-bus links.

Piccadilly metro line serves the Airport. There are stops at all the terminals in the Airport. 

Travel time to city centre is around 45 minutes.

A Taxi trip from Heathrow Airport to central London takes between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on traffic conditions. 

Expect an average fare from £48 to £90 to downtown.

INTER TERMINAL TRANSPORT

For passengers that want to travel between terminals, there are frequent flight connection buses that transfer passengers from one area to another.  

Another options is to take free shuttle trains from Heathrow Central Station in T2 and T3 to T4 and T5. Passengers can get a free Inter-Terminal Transfer Ticket at the station. Transfer. time: 20 minutes. Oyster card can also be used. 

Another option is taking the underground, that run between terminals too. Transfer is free if passengers use Oyster card.
