Heathrow Terminal 2

London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 is the newest terminal at LHR Airport, which it is also known as the Queen’s Terminal. Terminal 2 is able to handle 20 million passengers per year.

The Terminal is home of most part of the international flights handled at the Airport.

Levels

Heathrow Terminal 2 consists of the following levels:

Ground floor

Ground transportation level (bus, taxi and flight connections transfers).  

Level 1

Arrivals level. Find here the baggage claim of level 1 with oversized baggage counters and other baggage services.  

Level 4

Departures, gate level. Boarding gates: A1-A26. Passengers come from Level 5. There are all kind of services available at the area. 

Terminal 2B

Here passengers will find gates (Gates B31–B49). Heathrow Terminal 2 has as satellite pier (Terminal 2B) which comprises boarding gates B30-B49 plus lounges B1, B2 and B3, among other services such as shops, cafés and restaurants.

Level 5

Check-in area. Access through security check (Zones A, B, C and D).

TRANSFER BETWEEN TERMINALS 

For passengers that want to travel between terminals, there are frequent flight connection buses that transfer passengers from one area to another.  

Another options is to take free shuttle trains from Heathrow Central Station in T2 and T3 to T4 and T5. Passengers can get a free Inter-Terminal Transfer Ticket at the station. Transfer. time: 20 minutes. Oyster card can also be used. 

Another option is taking the underground, that run between terminals too. Transfer is free if passengers use Oyster card.
